6 Month Anniversary Press Conference on May 3

TARG is organizing a press event at 2:00 PM to mark the six month anniversary of the Halloween flood with Congressman Doggett, Commissioner Gomez and other political leaders. It will be held in front of 7444 Onion Creek Dr., which is the corner of Onion Creek Drive and Wild Onion. This will be an important opportunity to remember, reflect and re-commit to a full and fair recovery!

TARG will be releasing a report and our plan – Recovery in Action to insure that everyone in the 100 year flood plain is offered a fair buy-out and that those who choose to stay will have the right to rebuild. We are also urging the city to take immediate action to improve and expand the early warning systems including sirens and to offer a clear evacuation plan.
